| Description |
English: Deflecting stone This is located at the right hand side of the archway leading to the old jail at Gaol Square. Most likely it was to deflect carriages from colliding with the corner of the wall. There was a similar stone located at Scarffe's Entry and also to the Back Market at the junction of High Street and High Street. Both of which are now gone. |
