Description Der Sichere Mann, Sepiazeichnung von Moritz von Schwind nach Eduard Mörikes „Märchen vom sichern Mann“, 1838. – Der Götterjüngling Lolegrin sitzt auf dem Stiefelabsatz des Riesen Suckelborst, des „sicheren Mannes“, der mit Kohle sein Weltbuch aus Scheunentoren beschriftet. Vorgreifend auf eine spätere Szene klemmt bereits der Schwanz des Teufels als Lesezeichen in Suckelborsts Buch.
