| Description |
English: Derelict house at Welney Fifties This house is situated next to Parting Drain, in the area known as Welney Fifties. The name 'Fifties' refers to the 50-acre fields that were separated by intersecting ditches, when this low-lying area was first drained. The house is in Norfolk, but the view is from Cambridgeshire, the county boundary being across the drain following the line of the overgrown hedge to the left of the photo. |
