معلوم قطع زائدة دلتا على مستوى الأرض. مطلوب تحديد المخروط الذي مقطعه يتطابق مع المخروطية دلتا.

لحل هذه المسألة نقوم أولا بتحديد خطوط التقارب (Asymptote) ومن ثم نقوم بتوليد مخروط دائري رواسمه (generatrixes) خطوط التقارب. - وأخيرا نقطع المخروط بمستوى الأرض للحصول على المخروطية المطلوبة.

given a hyperbola (delta) on the first projection plane. it is required to determine the cone that has delta as its section. the geometric solution consists in immediately determining the syntotes of delta. and then to generate a circular cone v which has the asymptotes as generatrices. - sectioning v with the first projection plane, we have a conic coinciding with the given one

data un'iperbole (delta) sul il primo piano di proiezione. e' richiesto di determinare il cono che ha come sezione delta. la soluzione geometrica consiste nel determinare subito agli sintoti di delta. e poi di generare un cono circolare v che ha gli asintoti come generatrici.

- sezionando v con il primo piano di proiezione, si ha una conica coincidente con quella data
