Summary[edit]

Description Deutsche Reichsbahn bicycle carriage ticket between Lausche and Lichte. Bought to experience the extraordinary climb out of Lauscha behind a class 119 U-Boot and then freewheel back to Lauscha. The line beyond Ernstthal is now closed and along with it Lichte and all other stations to Probstzella. The journey involved crossing the Finsterer Viaduct very slowly.
