Description
Deutsch: Wuppertal, der Kaiserwagen der Schwebebahn passiert das Islandufer Richtung Döppersberg. Die beiden großen blauen Informationsschilder, die auf Parkmöglichkeiten hinweisen, sind ungewöhnlich. Das linke zeigt einen gebogenen statt des üblichen geraden Pfeils nach links, wohl um zu vermeiden, dass Autofahrer zu spontan abbiegen und auf dem den Fußgängern vorbehaltenen Bismarcksteg statt auf der Isländer Brücke landen. Das rechte Verkehrsschild weist, vermutlich erst später unterstützt mit dem Zusatzschild "Islandufer", auf das gleichnamige Parkhaus rechter Hand hin, das auf dem Hauptschild noch sehr umfänglch mit drei Pkw-besetzten Ebenen skizziert wird, während ein wohl zu späterer Zeit montiertes weiteres Parkhaus-Schild das noch heute geläufige Design des durch einen aufwärts gerichteten stumpfen Winkel über dem "P" symbolisch angedeuteten Daches zeigt.
