Deutsch: Ausstellung im Museum Schnütgen, Köln: „Die Heiligen Drei Könige. Mythos, Kunst und Kult“. 25. Oktober 2014 bis 25. Januar 2015. Raum: „Der Reiz des Fremden“.
Objekt: Neapolitanische Krippe. Die Figuren wurden in der Kölner Ausstellung offenbar in einer eigenen Krippenarchitektur gezeigt. In dem unten genannten Katalog des Freisinger Museums sind sie in einer anderen Kulisse abgebildet. – Die Krippenfiguren stammen nicht von einem Krippenkünstler, sondern werden unterschiedlichen Bildhauern zugeschrieben:
  • Giuseppe Sammartino (1720–1793): Heilige Familie, drei Engel, Könige und Teile des Gefolges
  • Angelo Viva (1748–1837): Teile des Gefolges und der Hirten
  • Lorenzo Mosca (gest. 1789): Engel, Teile des Gefolges und des Volkes
  • Ludovico(?) Vaccaro (geb. um 1725): Wirtspaar (auf einem Zettel bezeichnet: „L. Vaccaro“)
  • Matteo Bottiglieri (1684–1757): Teile des Volks (Gemüsehändlerin)
  • Nicola Vassallo (2. Hälfte 18. Jh.): Rinder, Ziegen, Schafe, Pferde, Esel, Kamele
  • Giuseppe Picano (2. Hälfte 18. Jh.): Obst und Gemüse
