Description
Deutsch: Im Landschaftspark Duisburg-Nord erlebte ich bezeichnender Weise am 1. Mai, dem Tag der Arbeit, den Lost Place des größten Stahlwerks im Ruhrgebiet. Außer einem unvergesslichen Blick vom seit 1985 stillgelegten Hochofen 5 sah ich Stahlelemente, die die Natur bereits zurückerobert. 😉 Der Besuch des Parks ist kostenfrei und wahnsinnig interessant.
English: Lost Place Landscape Park Duisburg-North. Thyssen-Krupp (the famous steel industry in the Rhine-area) has a big disused furnance since 1985 and you can climb up to have a top view over the industrial area between nature. Now it is up to the nature to recapture, see picture! 😆
