Description
Deutsch: Dietlingen (Kirchenburg); Kreis Enz; Bundesland Baden-Württemberg; Deutschland. Erbaut zu gotischer Zeit im 14./15. Jh. spätere Veränderungen; bemerkenswert: Feste Kirchhofmauer weitgehend erhalten (teils rekonstruiert), desgleichen Steinkonsolen und Brüstung des ehemaligen Wehrgangs. Kirchhofmauer zur Bergseite im Norden und Süden abgetreppt aufsteigend, der Wehrgang mit Steintreppen. Im Südwesten flankierender Halbschalenturm.
English: Dietlingen (Church-Castle); District of Enz; Federal State of Baden-Württemberg; Germany. Founded in the Gothic area of the 14/15th century; later changes. Curtain mostly present (partly rebuilded, with corbels and parapet of the former battlewalk); in the North and South, the curtain follows the steep terrain upwards in staircase manner; to the Southwest, a half rounded tower is added.
