Summary
[edit]DescriptionDiodeGenCharacteristics1.jpg |
English: Diagram of several diodes for small currents (0.5µA - 1 mA). The curved yellow on the left are Germanium Diodes AA 118 and AA 119. From left to right we than have: Schottky-Diodes with steep slope, Si-Diodes (which are identified with the more oblique slope). Finally we have Base-Emitter-Diodes of Transistors. Note the more or less parallel slope for the for different technological solutions. The diagram proofs that for "Transistor-Diodes" the connection of Collector to Base is a mandatory (s. horizontal arrows). Only then we have the long direct line of I(U), which is used for temperature measurement or amplifiers with logarithmic or exponential behaviour. Deutsch: Spannungs-Strom-Diagramm für verschiedenste Dioden bei kleinen Strömen (0,5 µA - 1 mA). Die gekrümmten Kurven links sind Germanium-Dioden (AA 118, AA 119). Dann folgen Schottky-Dioden.
