Description
English: An aerial view of Los Angeles during the Hoover Dam Power Inaugural, held to honor the first instances of power-production from the dam. Downtown Los Angeles was flooded with 7.2 million candle-power light, and engineers claimed that the display was visible from 100 miles away.
