Description
Deutsch: Das Weltzentrum der Bahai befindet sich in Haifa, Israel. Die Hängenden Gärten der Bahai gelten als Ort der Ruhe inmitten der Großstadt Haifa. Sie gehören zu den meistbesuchten touristischen Anziehungspunkten Israels. Der Berg Karmel ist in der Geschichte der Religion in verschiedenen Quellen aufzufinden. Zum Beispiel wird im Buch Jesaja des Alten Testaments prophezeit, dass es der „Berg des Herren“ sei, zu dem „alle Völker herbeiströmen werden“.
English: The Bahá'í World Centre is the name given to the spiritual and administrative centre of the Bahá'í Faith. The location of the administrative centre was a result of a successive number of banishments and imprisonments of Bahá'u'lláh, founder of the Bahá'í Faith.
