Summary[edit]

Description
English: Droitwich Long Wave Masts. The twin 700 foot masts support the T section aerial from which BBC Radio 4 on 1500 metres Long Wave (although actually 198kHz since 1989 to fit in with Internationally agreed frequency plans). The BBC first started transmitting from here in 1934 and the Long Wave transmitter is the BBC's most powerful.
