English: Drury Lane, WC2 (2) There is a Peabody Estate here, built in 1880. It provides affordable family housing in the very heart of the city. The character of London would not be the same without such accommodation, and I believe it is essential to the fabric of the city that it continues to be provided here, and only to those for whom it was originally intended. |
