Description

Dumbo rocket engine is a reactor that consists of an array of metal tubes whose wells are made permeable to gas flow by myriads of tiny, regular channels. These walls contain the fissionable material which is the source of the heat for the propellant gas. The flow of gas through the tube walls effectively insulates the central region of each tube. This permits hydrogenous moderator in the form of plastic to be tide the main
