Summary[edit]

Description
English: Dun Eoghanachta One of several duns, or forts supposed to originate from the Iron Age. The circular structure is about 90 feet in diameter, with walls 16 feet high and over 12 feet thick. From within or from the wall, which can be reached by internal steps, it is impossible to make an image that gives any sense of place - hence this external view, which is somewhat diminished by a stone field-wall.
