Українська: До наших днів збереглися два портрети Дмитра Вишневецького, які були створені у ХVIII ст. Один із них експонується в Національному музеї історії України. Портрет був написаний через кілька століть після смерті князя. Невідомий художник, спираючись на історичні джерела та народні перекази, відтворив на полотні силу, цілеспрямованість та відвагу лицаря, борця з османською загрозою середини XVI ст. Це образ молодого козака, озброєного луком та шаблею, але у вбранні багатого шляхтича XVIII ст. Портрет видовженої овальної форми, в його верхній та нижній правій частині вміщені написи:

Object history
Українська: Портрет надійшов до збірки музею на самому початку існування закладу – в 1899 р. Це полотно разом із іншими картинами (загалом 28) із Вишневецького замку передав київський градоначальник В. І. Толлі. Із тієї збірки збереглося 16 полотен, 12 із них – портрети представників роду Вишневецьких.
