English:
Eötvös József Memorial Museum (full name: National Pedagogical Library and Museum Eötvös József Memorial Museum) former Eötvös country house. Neoclassical style, built around 1830. Plaque on facade inscription: "Baron József Eötvös/1813-1871/Hungary's first Minister of Culture, outstanding personality of the reform era, writer, poet and cultural politician spent his youthful years in this house. His progressive friends László Szalay, Ágoston Trefort, Ferenc Pulszky, Moric Lukács visited him here, and he made plans with them for Hungary prosperity". The first room introduces you to his family background and his work in his youth. The books presented here can be traced to Eötvös's literary work. The tableaux illustrate his studies, participation in reform assemblies, his trips abroad and his acquaintances. The room is made cozy by the Biedermeier interior made from the furniture of the Eötvös family, complemented by the coats of arms of the Eötvös and Lilien families. Eötvös's youth portrait painting by Anton Einsle and Eötvös's mother Anna Lilien by Johann Ruprecht. - The current exhibition was opened in 1988 in honor of the 175th anniversary of Eötvös' birth. - 33 Eötvös József Street, Ercsi, Fejér County, Hungary.

Múzeum, volt Eötvös-kúria, klasszicista, 1830 körül épült. Megj. nem igazán kúria, előkert nélküli ház akárcsak az utca több háza. Utcavonalas beépítésben álló "U" alaprajzú épület. Dörzsölt, fehér vakolatú, holkerpárkányos?, építészeti tagozatok nélküli főhomlokzata 5 ablaktengelyes. A 3. és 4. tengely között emléktábla látható. Az utcai szárny udvari homlokzata előtt későbbi beépítésű veranda. Névtáblája: 'Országos Pedagógiai Könyvtár és Múzeum Eötvös József Emlékmúzeum' Emléktábla felirata: 'Báró Eötvös József/1813-1871/E házban töltötte ifjúkori éveit hazánk első kultuszminisztere, a reformkor kimagasló egyénisége, író, költő, művelődéspolitikus. Itt látogatták meg haladó gondolkodású barátai Szalay László, Trefort Ágoston, Pulszky Ferenc, Lukács Móric, s velük szőtte terveit Magyarország felvirágoztatásáért' - 'Eötvös-kúria; múzeum' néven műemléki védelem azonosító: 3620, törzsszám: 1628 - Fejér megye, Ercsi, Eötvös József utca 33., helyrajzi szám: 68.
