Description
English: Much to my surprise, an infamously incorrect "US 27" sign still remains along the eastbound lane of New York State Route 27 (Sunrise Highway) in the Canoe Place section of Hampton Bays, New York.

Other versions Long ago, renowned road enthusiast photographer Doug Kerr took his own picture of this sign. You would think that by now this error had been corrected, but that's not the case.
