Description
Deutsch: Stark verwitterte Tafel an einer Felswand im unteren Teil des Stadtparks Roeseschen Hölzchen - sie stammt mglw. aus der Gründungszeit um 1800. Der Text ist ein Gedicht des Gymnasiallehrers Johann Christoph Tschirpe, welches auch im Buch „Beschreibung der vorzüglichen Gärten in und bey Eisenach und ihrer schönen Gegend“ (1808) von Friedrich Gottlieb Dietrich wiedergegeben ist.

Unverdorben durch Kunst für einfach schöne Natur, noch
sanft und liebevoll schlägt: wer nach vollbrachten Geschäften
stärkender Ruhe bedarf, dem städtischen Lermen entweichet,
Diese Klüfte besucht, und diese Gänge durchwallet,
Den erschrecke kein Sturm: kein grausend rollender Donner
Drohe den grässlichen Sturz des überhängenden Felsen.
Sanfter Zephyr umweh ihn, und süss unschuldige Freude
Stimme fühlbar sein Herz zum Danke gegen den Schöpfer!
