DescriptionEast Anglia Transport Museum, Carlton Colville, Suffolk - geograph.org.uk - 850254.jpg |
English: East Anglia Transport Museum, Carlton Colville, Suffolk Here are seen trams from London (left) and Blackpool. The London car is No 1858 of Class HR/2, which were 8-wheeled bogie cars with equally sized wheels for working on hilly routes south of the Thames, mainly in the Dulwich area. The Blackpool car was also an 8-wheeled bogie car but much less powerful. Until the mid-1950s it was used on the route to Marton. |
