Summary[edit]

Description
English: The house represented is the "ferry house" built in 1860 for Rebecca Ebey, widow of Col. Isaac Ebey, who was assassinated in 1857, near where the house now stands, by local native raiders. It functioned as a hotel for ferry passengers traveling between Whidbey Island and Port Townsend, Washington.
