Summary

[edit]
Description
English: Egyptian aid to Belgium (1918)

In September 1918, in the last year of World War I, Egypt sent more than 500 thousand French francs to save the Belgian people from poverty and tuberculosis, but Egypt continued to send more money, and Her Majesty Queen Elizabeth, Queen of Belgium, sent a letter in her handwriting expressing In it, about the great generosity of the Egyptian people, and what they provided to the Belgian people during the First World War, which requires the Belgian people to return the favor to the honorable Egyptian people, if Egypt ever needs Belgium. As for the Secretary of Her Majesty the Queen of Belgium, she also sent a letter of thanks for Egypt's saving of the Belgian people, announcing that Belgium would write this great work in her golden book so that the world would know who was supporting Belgium, and she explained in her letter that these funds were divided into three parts, including 165,000 francs. For the Queen's personal account as the head nurse, and to spend from her on nursing the victims of the First World War, including 250,000 francs to buy enough food for soldiers, and 150,000 francs to buy military clothes for soldiers in the winter.

These are some of the aid documents, which are one of the checks that Egypt sent to Belgium, a letter in the handwriting of the Queen of Belgium, and another to the Queen's secretary.
