Description
  • English: The Devil, central figure of the Roca Diablera or Pluto, one of the triumphal cars of the Corpus Christi procession in Valencia. It was built around C.E.1511, although the current figure was sculpted in C.E.1815 to replace the old one, which was very deteriorated.

  • Español: El Diablo, figura central de la Roca Diablera o de Plutón, uno de los carros triunfales de la procesión del Corpus Christi de Valencia. Fue construido hacia 1511, aunque la figura actual se esculpió en 1815 para sustituir a la antigua que estaba muy deteriorada.

En la parte trasera de la carroza, que recuerda a una barca, la efigie de una especie de perro demonio[1][dead link] que saca la lengua sostiene un cartel que dice:

“Ladre con su rabia el Can, arda en el fuego Plutón, que todo trofeos son en la Fiesta del DIos Pan”
