Türkçe: Beton ağırlık ve kaya dolgu tipi olan barajın gövde hacmi 16 679 000 m³, akarsu yatağından yüksekliği 210 m, normal su kotunda göl hacmi 31 000 hm³ normal su kotunda göl alanı 675 km²'dir.
Keban Baraj Gölü bu özellikleriyle Türkiye’nin Atatürk Barajı'nın gölünden sonra en büyük yapay gölüdür. Doğal göllerle bir arada sıralandığında Van Gölü, Tuz Gölü ve Atatürk Baraj Gölü'nün ardından 4. sırada yer almaktadır. kebanBaraj gölünün Murat Nehri Vadisi boyunca uzunluğu 125 km’dir. Genişliği yer yer değişmektedir. Keban baraj gölünde elektrik üretiminin yanı sıra su avcılığı yapılmakta ve balık üretimi de gerçekleştirilmektedir. Gölün etrafında Elazığ ve çevre illerin halkının faydalandığı eğlence ve mesire yerleri mevcuttur. Üzerinden feribotla Elazığ'ın Ağın, Tunceli'nin Pertek ve Çemişgezek ilçelerine geçiş yapılabilmektedir.

Keban Dam Lake is the largest artificial lake in Turkey after Ataturk Dam lake with these characteristics. When ranked together with natural lakes, it is in the 4th place after Van Lake, Salt Lake and Atatürk Dam Lake. The length of the keban Dam lake along the Murat River Valley is 125 km. Its width varies from place to place. In addition to electricity generation, water fishing is carried out in the Keban dam lake and fish production is also carried out. There are recreation and recreation areas around the lake that the people of Elazig and the surrounding provinces benefit from. Via the ferry, you can go to Elazığ's Ağın, Tunceli's Pertek and Çemişgezek districts. |
