Description
English: Hypothesis Webinar: Collaborative Annotation in the Science Classroom

Whether it be in a high school physics classroom or a journal club in a university biology laboratory, collaborative web annotation has the potential to transform how science is taught and practiced. Students can both become more literate about scientific subjects and scientific knowledge production as well as contribute valuably to the scientific record themselves.

In addition to discussion of the above possibilities, this webinar will serve as a basic introduction to using the Hypothesis collaborative annotation tool in the science classroom. Participants will learn different ways to implement collaborative annotation in the study of science, including integration with various online platforms, a range of potential assignments, and general tips from active practitioners.

The webinar will bring together four science educators who have used web annotation in their classrooms.
