| Description |
English: Looking east at the intersection of Pitkin Avenue and Eldert Lane in City Line, East New York, Brooklyn, just west of Ozone Park, Queens. This is likely the east end of the IND Fulton Street subway's four-track mainline, unless the line ends one block west at Grant Avenue. Past here, the line was to continue to Cross Bay Boulevard and Aqueduct Racetrack and eventually to Cambria Heights. Note that there is a steep drop in grade past this intersection; in theory this would require some creative tunneling. However, the IND mainline is actually the lowest level at this location, below the Grant Avenue station and connection and a pair of yard leads to the Pitkin Yard, so it may have just gone straight from here.
