English: Moat and garden of Electoral Castle (Kurfürstliche Burg Eltville) in Eltville am Rhein, Rheingau-Taunus-Kreis, Hesse, Germany. Nowadays it forms a part of Eltville Rose Garden.
Deutsch: Historischer Burggraben und -garten der Kurfürstlichen Burg Eltville am Rhein, Rheingau-Taunus-Kreis, Hessen, Deutschland. Sie sind Teil des 1979 angelegten Rosengartens an der Kurfürstlichen Burg, zu dem auch noch Flächen an der Rheinpromenade gehören. Insgesamt beheimatet der Rosengarten mehr als 350 verschiedene Rosensorten von historischen Rosen, Kletterrosen bis zu zehn Metern Höhe und japanischen Rosen. Seit 1988 ist Eltville am Rhein als Rosenstadt des Vereins Deutscher Rosenfreunde anerkannt. |
