Description
Español: El pasado domingo 21 de noviembre, el Embajador del Perú en Reino Unido, Julio Muñoz, y el Embajador británico en nuestro país, Anwar Choudhury, recorrieron el llamado “Paddington Trail”, en una iniciativa conjunta para estrechar los lazos entre el Perú y el Reino Unido, coincidiendo con el estreno de la película acerca del Oso Paddington en ambos países. La actividad incluyó el recorrido por tres estatuas del citado personaje. Estas fueron: “Bearodiversity”, dedicada a celebrar la biodiversidad de nuestro país; “Taste of Peru”, en referencia a la gastronomía peruana; y “Wonders of the World”, basada en MachuPicchu. Asimismo, los embajadores participaron en un encuentro con niños peruanos y británicos en la Biblioteca de Paddington y, posteriormente, sostuvieron una reunión con el chef nacional Martín Morales, con quien conversaron acerca del éxito que la gastronomía peruana viene experimentando en el Reino Unido.
