130 kW transmitter with electronic tubes manufactured by SFR French Radio-electric Company for radio broadcast emissions in amplitude modulation for wavelengths between 13 m and 50 m SFR review of the electric wave N ° 222 September 1945

Summary[edit]

Description
English: The SFR company was the main provider of radio equipment for transmissions and for radio-division for the French administration between 1920 and 1980. The photo shows an association of 2 electronic tubes to provide 130 kW on the antenna. Cooling is done by cooled water circulation. The power to be evacuated is important because it is necessary to evacuate the heat from the heating of filaments and that dissipated on the anodes. The assembly shown here equipped the Issoudun radio station in 1945 for the French colonies. The amplitude modulator floor is a low frequency amplifier of at least 100 kW and using a transformer with a mass of 5 tonnes. The Electric Wave is a publication of the French Society of Radioelectricians created in 1883. In 2023, the review that succeeded is called: The review of Electricity and Electronics (REE) See, and is published by REE, Electricity, Electronics and Information and Communication Society
