Français : Pourcentage d'énergie économisée par l'E-ship 1 d'Enercon, pour un seul rotor Magnus et pour une vitesse constante du navire de 16 nœuds, selon la route par rapport au vent apparent (en bleu) ou la route par rapport au vent météo (en gris), le vent météo étant de 24 nœuds dans les deux cas. L'énergie économisée est à lire à l'aide des cercles, dans l'axe du navire (celui-ci étant orienté par rapport au vecteur vent). Ainsi pour le navire représenté en rouge, qui fait route à 170° du vent météo (courbe grise), chaque rotor économise presque 2% d'énergie (soit 8 % pour les quatre rotors). Pendant cette course, il est à près de 150° du vent apparent. On peut lire à cet angle la même économie de presque 2 % à ce cap. Autre exemple : Si le navire fait route à 50° du vent apparent (courbe bleue) il fait une économie d'énergie de presque 11 % par rotor (soit 44 % d'économie pour les quatre rotors). |
