English: Lt Gen Sanjiv Talwar AVSM, Engineer-in-Chief arrived Visakhapatnam on a two day visit today, 22 March 16. On arrival, the General visited major naval establishments at Visakhapatnam and reviewed the progress of various infrastructure projects. Lt Gen Talwar called on Vice Admiral HCS Bisht, AVSM, the Flag Officer Commanding-in-Chief, Eastern Naval Command and later interacted with MES officials. The Engineer-in-Chief is the overall head of the Military Engineer Services of the Armed Forces. The General is scheduled to depart Visakhapatnam on 23 March 16. |
