| Description |
English: Entrance to Thor's Cave The name is probably more closely connected with the local hills known as 'tors' than with the Norse god of thunder. When I climbed up from the Manifold valley to visit it, I met a team of rather disappointed speleologists who had come fully equipped to explore its interior but had found there was precious little for them to explore. |
