Description
English:  : Geological Key Section on Pusztaszeri út. Eocene marl is exposed in the outcrop found on 88 sqm area in roadcut of Pusztaszeri út. It is a key section of Upper Eocene Buda Marl Formation. The site, studied by numerous Hungarian and foreign experts. It is the only remaining place in the heavily built-in Buda Hills region where the typical stratigraphic succesion of Buda Marl is exposed in a protected area. - Under the protection of the Budapest Municipality since 1982. Get in: bus no.65 or 29 or 165 from Kolosy tér and get off at the first stop (Ürömi utca). Source: Budapest's Protected Natural Heritage. Edited by Municipality of Budapest in 1996.
