Description
Deutsch: Das Löwen- und Papageien-Fenster links an der Chorwand der Augustinerkirche (Erfurt) entstand zwischen 1300 und 1320. Auf dem Fenster lösen sich Papageien- und Löwenpaare mit Blatt­werkrosetten ab. Zwischen den Löwenpaaren unten und in der Mitte fand Martin Luther die Vorlage für die Lutherrose, die er seit 1530 als Siegel für seinen Briefverkehr verwendete. Das Christusfenster in der Mitte und das Ornamentfenster rechts zählen ebenso zu den ältesten Farbglasfenstern in Erfurt.
