Description
Deutsch: Tal der nur ca. 3 km langen Erpf (Tributar der Oberen Lauchert) bei der alten „Erpfmühle“. Auch das Karstwasser der Albhochfläche „Beerhalde“ bewässert die Aue der Erpf üppig. Wiesen-Schlüsselblumen sind die ersten Frühlingsboten, während der Baumbestand der „Beerhalde“ noch nicht ergrünt ist. Eine permanent aus dem Hang fließende Karstquelle (nicht mehr im Bild), wurde von der Albwasserversorgung (XV, Erpfgruppe, seit 1911) zur lokalen Trinkwasserversorgung gefasst und das Wasser über ein Pumpwerk (nicht mehr im Bild) verteilt.

English: Valley of rivulet “Erpf”, a tributary of Upper Lauchert, Swabian Alb. Its karst water and that of the Alb’s slopy district “Beerhalde” feed the river flat. The Common Cowslips are the first to flourish in April, while the forest at the slope is not yet green. A perennially flowing karst spring was tapped in 1911 and pumped for distribution as drinking water (facility not in the image).
