English: Escalier du Chien ("Staircase of the Dog"), named after an Egyptian statue since moved away. Located east of the south wing of the Cour Carrée and leading from the Egyptian Antiquities (1st floor) to the French Paintings (2nd floor). Louvre museum (Paris, France).
Français : Escalier du Chien, du nom d'une statue égyptienne aujourd'hui déplacée. Situé à l'est de l'aile sud de la cour Carrée et conduisant des Antiquités Égyptiennes (1er étage) aux Peintures Françaises (2nd étage). Musée du Louvre.
