Description
Español: Escudo del municipio de Tame (Arauca).

"El autor del Escudo de Tame fué Alvaro Piñeros, Acuerdo 021 de junio 8 de 1995. El sol, la cordillera y los rios significan la verdad climática y la riqueza fluvial del Municipio. El indigena representa el ancestro Girara, tribu principal con la que se fundo el pueblo de Tame. La parte superior derecha encierra la riqueza faunística y pecuaria de la región, en el sector inferior derecho, el racimo de platanos y la rueda dentada significan la vocación agroindustrial del municipio. El jinete de la parte superior del escudo evoca la bravura de nuestros lanceros que al lado de Rondon participaron en la campaña libertadora."
