Español: Escudo del municipio de Taminango (Nariño).

"Caracterizaci�n: Autor: Ramiro Jurado Rend�n. Cuadrante Superior izquierdo: Representaci�n de productos t�picos de la tierra, ma�z, man� y fr�jol. Cuadrante Superior Derecho: ubicaci�n del municipio entre los cerros Madural y Curiquingue. Cuadrante Inferior izquierdo: Representaci�n Puente sobre el R�o Juananb� Cuadrante Inferior Derecho: Representaci�n Puro en jigra rala junto a un cacho que lo adorna. Centro: Aparece un ovalo en el que figura el Sol. Se adorna el escudo con una rama de caf� s�mbolo de la econom�a actual, entrelazada con una cinta azul que deja ver en la parte superior el lema �AMISTAD Y TRABAJO�. Bajo este lema dos manos estrech�ndose que reafirma el lema e invita a visitar el municipio."
