| Description |
English: During eukaryotic transcription in the nucleus, RNA polymerase is used to separate DNA into two strands. The strand moving in the 3' to 5' direction is used as a template for pre-mRNA. Through complementary base pairs a pre-mRNA molecule is formed. |
