Summary[edit]

Description
English: Stem-loop secondary structures within the RNA molecules that cells use to produce the lin-4 miRNA of C. elegans and the miR-1 miRNA of humans. The sequences of the mature miRNAs are in red. This figure was drawn based on studies that cloned and sequenced mature miRNAs and predicted the corresponding stem-loops. [1][2]
