Description Eight U.S. Navy Lockheed TO-1 Shooting Star fighters assigned to Fighter Squadron VF-52 Knightriders in formation near San Diego, California (USA), in 1948. The TO-1 was a standard U.S. Air Force F-80C, 50 of which were bought by the USN and mainly used to familiarize crews with jet fighters.
