Description A Vought F-8E Crusader from the U.S. Navy aircraft carrier USS Oriskany (CVA-34) zooms toward "Tiger Island" during an attack on this transfer point for supplies bound from North to South Vietnam on 26 August 1965. Oriskany, with assigned Attack Carrier Air Wing 16 (CVW-16), was deployed to Vietnam from 5 April to 16 December 1965.
