The aircraft was most probably assigned to Fighter Squadrons 791 (VF-791) "Fighting Falcons" and was assigned to Carrier Air Group 101 (CVG-101) aboard the aircraft carrier USS Boxer (CV-21) for a deployment to the Western Pacific and Korea from 2 March to 24 October 1951. |
