  • Photograph appeared Tuesday, December 6, 1932, in The Piqua Daily Call (page 5), captioned as follows: Assistant Secretary of the Navy Franklin Roosevelt and his daughter Anna with one of their prize German shepherd dogs, "Chief of the Mohawk," which had been a winner in the Washington Kennel Club show.
