| Description |
Delivered yesterday to Arriva's Green Lane depot fresh from the ADL factory in Scotland is Euro 5 Enviro400 4584, being prepped for service for the new year. Assuming this is the Green Lane/St. Helen's order, this is the first of a batch of new double decker to arrive at the depot for a good number of years now, as Green Lane has been one of the last North West depots to receive an order for deckers in recent years. I assume this will end up being a GL vehicle in the new year (1 of 11) as St. Helen's are also due 26 (thankyou 507009 & DMC1947) for January 2015. These vehicles will surely be a welcome, as they are finally converting the 10/10A/10B corridor from a single decker Wright Pulsar allocation to a double one. SH cover the 10 and 10A, whilst GL operates the 10B. The vehicles are to be fitted with wifi, and comprise of eleather Esteban Civic seats. What is unusual though is Stagey in Manc Town also started receiving their 30-ish Enviro400 vehicles for Sharston yesterday... but these are the new Euro VI MMC version, unlike here. Odd. |
