Description
English: Fāngshì Mòpǔ 方氏墨譜 vol. 1 folio 32b, showing a drawing of a round ink mould with the Jurchen text gən-giɛn oŋ ətu-tʃï-jo dei; duin turilə çien andaxai which is a translation of the Chinese couplet "明王慎德、四夷咸賓" meaning "When a wise king is heedful of virtue, foreigners from all quarters come as guests". The same Jurchen text, but without a picture, is also published in Wáng Shìzhēn 王世貞 (1526–1590), Yǎnzhōu Shānrén Sìbùgǎo 弇州山人四部稿 vol. 168 folio 20a (see Mingwangshende Siyixianbin in nine languages.jpg), but the Jurchen text in Fāngshì Mòpǔ has corrupted versions of the 11th, 13th and 14th Jurchen characters, which are correctly written by Wáng Shìzhēn.
