Summary[edit]

Description
English: Farm track at the top of the hill This clearly shows the red iron rich soil. The area around the villages of Branston, Eaton and Eastwell was a rich source of ironstone and was industrially exploited up until the 1960s. There is little evidence of this industrial past left.
