Osten, d. 13.II.43.
Mein geliebtes Muttl!
Jetzt ist es 11.00 h ich kam eben von der Grabenkontrolle. Habe mir schnell ein paar Scheiben Brot geröstet etwas Margarine drauf und Staubzucker. Das schmeckt fast wie Kuchen. Fast alle Landser im Osten rösten auf den Bunkeröfen Brot. Nach dem Essen habe ich mich bischen entlaust, ja die lieben Tierchen sind schon wieder da! Aber Morgen gehe ich wieder zur Saune schön warm waschen und Entlausen. Vor dem Weg graut mir ja schon es ist 1½ Stunden zu laufen und die Wege sind alle vom Schnee verweht. Na es geht doch alles vorüber! Heute haben wir wieder einen Gefangenen gemacht der hatte sich verlaufen und war ganz erstaunt als wir ihn durch unseren Draht hohlten. Sonst geht es mir noch gut und bin gesund. Wie gehts den Dir liebe Mama was gibt es in unseren schönen Wien neues? Jetzt werden wohl wieder viele Eingezogen? Wie ist die Stimmung? Die Kerze wird nun schön langsam alle und auch mein Brief geht zu Ende. Recht innige Grüße und Küsse
