Osten, d. 5.IV.43.
Mein geliebtes Muttl!
Recht herzliche Grüße und Küße und vielen Dank für Deinen lieben Flugpostbrief vom 28.III. Du fragst ob ich Schmerzen habe ich bin schon wieder ganz Gesund und bei meiner Kompanie im Graben! Also gar kein Grund zur Besorgniß! Sind wieder in einer neuen Stellung da ist es noch ruhiger als in der letzten der Russe sieht uns nicht und wir ihn nicht. Leben wieder in Bunker und Gräben also kein Grund zur Sorge! Die Gräben sind auch hier voll Wasser und alles ist ein Schlamm und Dreck zum Glück haben wir alle Gummistiefel und daher keine naßen Füße! Die Straßen sind Grundlos. - Nun war Poldi doch bei Dir das war wohl [eine Freude wie sieht er aus?]
